INFRARED SCANNING & REPORTING OF ELECTRICAL MECHANICAL SYSTEMS

Infrared Testing is one of the most widely recognized forms of non-destructive testing (NDT) in use today. Electrical infrared thermography is a condition-monitoring tool to predictively maintain electrical systems, increase reliability and decrease downtime. Infrared thermographic surveys are non-contact, non-destructive examinations used to locate abnormal or unexpected thermal patterns or temperature differentials. These thermal patterns may indicate such conditions as loose connections, overloaded or unbalanced circuits, deteriorated or damaged insulation. Infrared electrical systems surveys performed by our experienced and licensed thermographer provide a significant advantage to your preventative/predictive maintenance programs. Our high-tech computerized scheduling system determines the most advantageous time to perform maintenance checkups on your facility. During each checkup, ERC certified thermographer/electrician performs a thorough analysis of the electrical distribution system, including harmonics testing and infrared scanning. A written and pictorial report, along with a detailed description of each system component, is promptly reviewed with the facility manager following each survey.

Cost Savings for an unplanned outage can lead to losses in money, productivity, and business. A predetermined program allows you to budget this service. An electrical preventative program is often beyond the time constraints and the capabilities of your in-house staff. By having an in-house program and schedule, you allow your staff to concentrate on other pressing matters, and leave the electrical systems to the experts. A comprehensive electrical preventative maintenance program may decrease the cost of fire, extended coverage and business equipment insurance. The U.S. Fire Administration has identified faulty electrical systems as the leading cause of all office and store structure fires.
