- Visual inspection of terminations, connections and other critical components
- Tightening / torqueing of bus connections, lugs, and wire terminations to manufacturer's specification
- Low resistance testing of switch contact areas and bus connections
- Actuation and testing of GFCI's on the main switches
- Actuation and observation of main switches, some adjustment of these switches
- Infrared scan of switchgear under a minimum of 40% load
- Cleaning and vacuuming of switchgear to ensure safety and proper operation
- Lubrication of the mechanism on the switch per manufacturer's specification
